Night Shelter Senior Manager Full-time

Starting at £25,155pa

37.5 hours per week - Permanent Nights

Resolve’s Night Shelter - based in Hatfield

Resolve is a charity providing drug & alcohol support services and now sheltered accommodation and support to homeless individuals from our New “all year round” Shelter to be running from our Hatfield Service Centre starting this year.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with drive, motivation and commitment to join the Resolve Team to deliver our new “Housing First” model support service for homeless individuals. Competent IT skills, effective listening skills and excellent communication skills and a knowledge of drug and alcohol harm reduction and treatment services are key requirements.

This position is a permanent night shift role working a range of shifts/hours from early and late night shifts across the week including bank/public holidays. The shelter will be open from 7.00pm to 8.00am daily and so the ability to ensure staff cover is provided across these hours is essential. The ability to work a weekly shift pattern and to be awake throughout the night shift including weekends and bank holidays, working with vulnerable adults with medium to high support needs is essential. Excellent Terms, Conditions and Holiday. See on application.

Resolve provides training for personal and professional development and therefore we will embrace candidates who primarily demonstrate being a ‘people person’, a ‘team player’, who has “person centred” approach to work and who wishes to be part of a valued team responsible for the smooth running of the project, mentoring clients and working with our volunteers.

Closing Date for application: 5.00pm Friday 25th January 2019
